Our destination will be Voidokilia Beach
A semi-circular summer dream! Images of the beach under Paleokastro, with its famous bay – shaped in a perfect semicircle – have travelled the world. Incredible turquoise water and fine white sand, hidden in which you’ll find beautiful seashells. . A full day away from Naplio, full of adventure, sea, fun!
We start our day by picking you up from the hotel and head to Gialova. You meet your guides at the beach and start with a small briefing.
The place: We begin our tour to explore the famous voidokilia beach, near the seaside vilage of Gialova. Within a landscape of incredible natural beauty we enjoy clear blue waters, golden sandy beaches where sea turtles return to lay their eggs, and well built medieval castles standing over historical shipwrecks outlining the rich naval history of the area.
The activity: In the beginning, we have a brieng about the route we are about to follow and about the basic techniques in SUP. We begin our journey paddling around the bay. We make a short stop for snorkeling at its northern tip. Heading south we explore the coastline under the medieval castle of Paleokastro. We take a break to rest and enjoy our snack with fruit and local products. Finally, we stop at the cosmolitan Gialova, a main tourist attraction seaside village! There we will enjoy a meal at a local seaside taverna. with traditional dishes and a refreshing beer or ouzo! After this full day we return to Naplio late in the evening, having memories of an amazing day full of Greece!
